Farm holiday SANGALLO is located near the center of  Bedizzole town on Valtenesi hills; near many sites dedicated to tourism, nature, sports, wine-gastronomy and night-life of Gardalake, and art cities of Veneto and Lombardy.

The beautifully-restored stone farmhouse dates back to the 18^th century and contains: proprety’s house, 8 confortable and independent rooms, 3 furnished apartments four 4, 5 or 6 persons, the restaurant with typical cuisine, one large courtyard and olive groves; grounds are cultivated maize, fruit trees, vegetables and some pets are all around.

The tipical products homemade in Sangallo are: cold cuts of this area (salame, coppa, pancetta..); olive oil; maize meal, chicken and fowl meat, homemade pasta (tagliatelle and tortelloni); vegetables and fruits; homemade cakes (tiramisù, pies, tarts..) and biscuits.

Motorway: we are near the exit Desenzano (motorway A4 Milan-Venice) follow the ring road in the direction of Brescia, Bedizzole exit and follow to the center of the country 13 Km, or exit Brescia est (motorway A4 milan- Venice) follow the ring road in the direction of Verona/Gardalake, Bedizzole exit and follow to the center of the country 15 Km.

 

Railway: stop at the station of Desenzano (Milan-Venice line) 14 Km.

 

Airport: Brescia/Montichiari’s airport 25 Km.

Verona / Villafranca’s airport 45 Km.

Bergamo’ s airport 55 km - Milan’s airport Malpensa 120km

The present price list is intended per room/apartment per day, taxed and service charge included.

Children’s special: from 0 to 2 years old discount of 100%, from 2 to 10 years old discount of 30%.

Course: THE TECHNIQUE OF GILDING AND GOLD LEAF

 

WEEKEND CLASS: May 10-11 or  June 14–15 - 2014

 

 

 

 

Come and learn the old technique of Gilding and Gold Leaf, as it was applied by Italian painters in the 13^th Century.

The  class is intended for anyone, even beginners, and will be held at the splendid Agriturismo Sangallo, near the Garda Lake.

Milli Segre` will be your instructor.  She is a restorer and an expert in the field and will reveal to you important secrets of the trade.

The cost is 250 Euro and it includes all the materials for the class.

Meals and lodging costs are separate.  Reservations should be made directly with the Agriturismo Sangallo.

The class will start on Saturday morning at 10 am and continue through Sunday at 5:30 pm with a lunch break between 12:30 and 1:30.
